Good Morning Everyone,
A group of us are going to the match tomorrow and staying in London. I always enjoy the pubs in London pre-match but it seems that we never find any good late night bars that stay open late? Does anyone have any recommendations on areas to head to?
Ideally looking for something that plays indie/alternative music and has a decent atmosphere. Or equally just any pub with a jukebox :)
Thanks

not central, but also not a million miles from the Den.
.... sort of eclectic venue. Quirky garden and Saturday looks like good weather. Open till 3am. Nearby night bus or uber if you are staying in central London.
.... more of a proper boozer (with great pizzas!). Open till 1am. Do a few pubs in Greenwich and finish here - if the music appeals that night.
Nearby night bus or uber if you are staying in central London.
If you need a mini-crawl of half decent pubs in Greenwich, starting with the 5.30 game in a 'sports bar' ending at the Pelton, try this - The Lost Hour (2 mins from Greenwich station), Richard 1st (Youngs - small garden), Plume of Feathers (smaller garden), Pelton (even smaller garden).
...... Sarf Laandan alternatives to the centre ... my local has regular lock-ins to 2/3 Saturdays .... but as half the clientele will have arrived from the Den, probably not for the best ....

Immediately after the game it’s worth checking out the Bermondsey beer mile if that’s your scene. The taprooms generally close around 11ish though.

You wont be able to get into Bermondsey after the match sadly, we'll all be directed to London Bridge

I think we're heading to London Bridge pre-game actually, any pubs you'd recommend near there? I think there was a big one we were at for the QPR game in November

This is 5 mins walk from London Bridge station. Not so well known with tourists. Edible food, a good beer selection and a nice looking traditional pub.
The name is a not quite as risque as you think ... this was the leather making area of the city, and this building was the trading exchange.
...... not sure if the link works. Google 'The Leather Exchange' ...

Any pubs around London Bridge will be full of boro but you won’t be able to get back to Bermondsey straight after the game. I know as I live in south London and it’s a ball ache but a necessity sadly. Think the met will be all over tomorrow given what’s to play for. Can’t wait. Utb

QPR is the opposite side of London, so suspect it wasn't round there.
